Choosing which day to view
The date picker lets you look at games from different days. Your selected date applies across the entire app, so when you switch between league pages or Daily Picks, you're always looking at the same day.
How the date picker works
Where to find it
The date picker appears in two places:
Sidebar - Always visible for quick access
Page headers - On Daily Picks and league pages
Both pickers stay in sync, so changing the date in one updates the other.
Selecting a date
On desktop: Click the date to open a calendar and pick any available day.
On mobile: Tap the date to use your phone's native date picker.
Using the arrow buttons
Click the left arrow to go to the previous day, or the right arrow to move forward. This is the fastest way to quickly browse different days.
Date limits
Past dates - You can view games going back to when our coverage began (April 28, 2025)
Future dates - You can look ahead up to 3 days to see upcoming games
This keeps the data reliable and prevents showing placeholder information.
Your timezone matters
Game times automatically adjust to your timezone. When you first load The Pick, we detect your location and show game times in your local time. This means:
A 7:00 PM ET game appears as 4:00 PM PT if you're on the West Coast
You never have to do mental math to figure out when games start
Everything stays consistent across the app
Resetting to today
If you've been browsing other dates and want to jump back to today, use the "Today" or reset option. This instantly returns you to the current day's slate.
How dates work across features
When you change the date:
League pages load games for that day
Daily Picks show recommendations for that day
Sidebar badges update to show how many games are scheduled
My Bets filters respect the date (for upcoming/live bets)
This consistency makes it easy to research games from any day without losing context.
All times shown in The Pick reflect your local timezone.
